Widely regarded as one of the most incisive songwriters of her generation, Suzanne Vega sings in a captivating, clear, vibrato-less voice that has been described as “plaintive but disarmingly powerful.” Notably cerebral and streetwise, her lyrics invite multiple interpretations. Suzanne Vega’s work remains as utterly distinct and creative as it was when her voice first aired on the radio over 20 years ago.
