Marcia Jablonski - Feed the Bird

Marcia Jablonski, a playwright living in Mineral Point, will culminate her  three-week residency at Overture with a staged reading of her four-person play, Feed the Bird.

The play centers around Suzanne, a mother of two adult children whose father spends the entire play in the basement in front of his flat-screen television, and the family’s exotic bird, who has become Suzanne’s only confidante.

Jablonski is the first recipient of the New Work Development Grant, a cooperative effort of the Wisconsin State Arts Board, Edenfred and Overture Center for the Arts.
