Madison Boychoir Festival

More than 200 young singers, ages 7 - 14,  from Madison and surrounding areas will gather at Overture Center for the Arts for an afternoon-long choral workshop with the award-winning conducting staff of the Madison Youth Choirs (MYC).  Participants will form two choirs, an Elementary-School choir and a Middle School choir, and learn individual and joint-choir music. The festival will culminate in a free public concert showcasing the singers' hard work.  Each festival choir will perform; in addition, each of MYC's boychoirs, Purcell, Holst and Britten, as well as MYC's high school mens choir, Ragazzi, will also perform.  The highlight of the concert will be a joint piece performed by everyone, more than 250 singers, ages 7 - 18.
