Overture Center for the Arts presents Daniel Barash on Saturday, November 28 at 9:30 AM, 11 AM and 1PM. Daniel Barash will take you and your family on a voyage 2,200 years back in time to the Han Dynasty in Mainland China with the fantastic art of shadow puppetry.  Fit for an emperor, this rare performance of Spin Me a Shadow, Tell Me a Tale is one you won't want to miss.  You will meet intricate silhouettes from around the globe in some of the world's most cherished folktales.  Audience members will travel from Southeast Asia to Africa and back and some will even venture behind the screen to perform in the show - see you in the land of shadows!

Each Saturday from the end of September through April at 9:30 AM, 11 AM and 1 PM, Overture Center presents Kids in the Rotunda, a series of FREE artistic programs designed for children and families. This popular performing arts series on the Rotunda Stage offers a relaxed, kid-friendly environment in which to enjoy a diverse lineup of local and regional musicians, storytellers, jugglers, theater troupes, magicians and dancers. The 1 PM performances are sign language interpreted.

Kids in the Rotunda is generously sponsored by American Girl's Fund for Children.  Additional funding for Kids in the Rotunda is provided by contributors to the Ovation Fund and also by members of the KIR Club.
