The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley
Capitol Theater

When the bulletin board above his bed falls on top of him one night, Stanley Lambchop wakes up the next morning flatter than a pancake! Determined to scour the globe for a way to become three-dimensional again, Stanley puts himself in a big envelope and mails himself around the world, meeting friends and learning about different cultures. The Flat Stanley Project promotes literacy and cultural understanding through correspondence between schools in different geographical locations. Students create their own "Flat Stanleys" to send to another school, where students keep a journal of Stanley's visit, returning him home with letters and pictures.
