CURRICULUM KEY: Music, Dance

The African Children's Choir is an outgrowth of Music for Life, which currently provides support for over 6,700 children in Africa. The choir is comprised of children ages seven to eleven. In spite of the war, poverty or disease that may have marred their young lives, these musically gifted children have found strength in the joyful melodies and dance of their East and Central African homelands. Each year a new choir is selected in order to give 26 children the opportunity to act as ambassadors for their countries and to teach other children about hope and empowerment.
