How it works
Step 1: Registration & Seat Purchase Agreement
Send no money at this time. Register in one of three ways:
Online: Submit your information electronically. You will receive a record of your order submission immediately. Look for a "Reservation Confirmation & Payment Agreement" to arrive in the mail afterwards.
Download the Registration/Order Form and fill it out. Send it to Overture Center via mail or fax.
Mail or fax the Registration/Order Form found in the OnStage brochure to: Overture OnStage, 201 State Street, Madison WI 53703, or fax 608.258.4971. Orders are not taken over the phone.
Season brochures are mailed to schools in late spring (for the upcoming school year), and early autumn. Brochures can also be obtained by calling 608.258.4177, or by sending an e-mail message to onstage@overturecenter.com
A block of seats is reserved for you when we receive
your order form.Make your reservations as soon as
possible, as some performances fill early in the spring
of the preceding school year.Your estimated total
reservation should include everyone attending:
students, teachers, chaperones, aides, bus drivers,
infants, etc. All persons, regardless of age, must pay admission. Groups exceeding the reservation number may be turned away.
If you don't know the exact number of students you will have in the coming year, please estimate to the best of your ability. It is best to estimate high. You can make any necessary adjustments either before Fri, October 3, 2008, approximately 2 weeks after the September final student count is determined; or 10 weeks prior to the event, which ever comes first.
Step 2: Watch for your Reservation and Accommodation Confirmation Form
A Reservation and Accommodation Confirmation form confirming the payment amount and payment due date will be mailed to your school at the beginning of the 2008/09 school year.
Step 3: Sign Your Reservation and
Accommodation
Confirmation Form
Complete and sign the Reservation and Accommodation Confirmation form and return to OnStage immediately.
Step 4: Registration Adjustments
Grace period deadline: October 3, 2008
Do you have more students than expected? Fewer? Does the school calendar conflict with your order? You may contact the OnStage Coordinator by October 3, 2008 or 10 weeks prior to the event, which ever comes first, to adjust your seat reservations. Please limit your adjustments to one per show. If you miss the October 3, 2008 deadline, you can still make a one-time adjustment of up to 15% on your order until ten (10) weeks prior to the performance. Only the Reservation Coordinator (the person who
placed the order) may authorize adjustments
Step 5: Payment
Send your payment to Overture Center by the due date.Payment is due 5 weeks before the performance. You will be sent a payment reminder approximately 8 weeks prior to the show. Late payment will cause your seat reservations to be moved to late status seating. You may not enter the theater if you have not paid in full.
Step 6: Resource Guides Sent
Resource guide materials and arrival instructions are mailed approximately 3 weeks prior to the show. Resource guides are available on the website a day or two before mailing. If you wish to download the guide instead of receiving it by mail, mark the appropriate box on your reservation form. Resource guides are designed for teachers to link individual performances to the curriculum and to enhance the students’ learning experience.
Step 7: Arrival at the Performance
Please arrive approximately 30 minutes before curtain time to allow for a smooth seating process.
