| The three sisters of the Ahn Trio—
violinist Angella, pianist Lucia, and
cellist Maria—redefine chamber music
for a new generation of listeners. Born
in Seoul, Korea, and educated at
Juilliard, the sisters push the boundaries
of standard piano-trio literature with
their visionary approach to music.
The Ahn Trio, recently named three of
People magazine’s 50 Most Beautiful
People, are modern, hip artists who
perform with superb technique and
contagious excitement. The Washington
Post said, ”Their technique was impressive,
and they balanced unanimity and
