Through a twist of fate, Tracy wins a role on the show and becomes a celebrity overnight. Although she has now won a coveted spot on her favorite show, Tracy has also earned the wrath of the most popular girl in school ¨C a girl whose mother just happens to operate the local television station. It¡¯s not soon after Tracy starts on ¨DThe Corny Collins Show¡¬ that she begins to see the racial tension on the set. Inspired by her friends and the need for equality, Tracy goes to great lengths to integrate the races on her favorite program.

Everyone's wish is granted at the end of Act One, but the consequences of their actions return to haunt them later, with disastrous results.

Throw in a Star Wars dream sequence, high-energy dance routines, the obligatory 80's party scene, copious amounts of blue eye-shadow, twenty cans of hairspray, as well as some of the most popular songs ever written, and the result is a "totally awesome" musical!

While Sandy stresses to her new classmates the emotional attachment she and Danny had, Danny stresses the physical aspects of their relationship. As the show goes on, the students at Rydell High have to deal with love, gang violence, teen pregnancy, and friendship. In the end, Sandy and Danny resolve their differences and end up happily together. Dancing in the show involves 1950s jazz styles.

The Music Man is a musical with book, music, and lyrics by Meredith Willson. The show is based on a story by Willson and Franklin Lacey. The plot concerns con man Harold Hill, who poses as a boys' band organizer and leader and sells band instruments and uniforms to naive townsfolk before skipping town with the cash. In River City, Iowa, prim but progressive Marian the librarian sees through him, but when Hill helps her younger brother, Marian begins to fall in love with Harold. Harold, in turn falling for Marian, risks being caught to win her.

All of our favorite Dr. Seuss characters, including Horton the Elephant, The Cat in the Hat, Gertrude McFuzz, lazy Mayzie, and a little boy with a big  imagination--Jojo. "Oh, the Thinks You Can Think" captures the show's spirit of imagination, as the colorful characters transport us from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus to the invisible world of the Whos.
