GETTING INFORMATION
Ticket office staff can answer many of your questions and provide up-to-date information on performances and on-sale dates. Overture magazine, a quarterly guide to our shows and events, includes information on upcoming events and is available in print by contacting the ticket office and on audiotape or via e-mail by contacting the Community Programs Department. Emergency evacuation maps are available at Overture Center or by contacting the ticket office.

ARRANGING ACCOMMODATIONS
Call the Special Assistance Line at 608.258.4144 when ordering tickets if you have any of the following questions or concerns:
- Wheelchair or mobility device accessible seating
- House wheelchair for assistance to and from the theater
- Access without steps
- Front-of-house seating for people with vision or hearing impairments
- Seating to accommodate a guide dog
- Sign-language interpretation
- Braille programs
Assistance may also be requested by using the Accommodation Request Form (pdf). To ensure availability, please make your requests in advance.
Wheelchair
seating in Overture Hall is available in Rows B and C of the Orchestra
Level, Row J of the Circle Level, and Row F of the Mezzanine Level.
See seating charts for details. Accessible locations are reserved
for use by patrons with disabilities, but may be released for
general sale when all other locations are sold. If you are planning
on transferring to a theater seat from a wheelchair or mobility
device, please inform the ticket office when ordering so we may
seat you in an appropriate and safe location. Fire safety codes
forbid items such as wheelchairs and mobility devices from being
left in any aisle where they may become an obstruction in an emergency.
Sign
language interpretation for Overture Center performances should
be requested at least four weeks prior to the performance. Currently,
the following shows will be interpreted in 2007/08:

programs for Overture Center performances should be requested
at least one week prior to the performance.

PARKING AND PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

The Overture Center ramp has entrances on Dayton and Carroll Streets. The State Street Capitol Ramp is located across State Street from the Center and has entrances on Johnson, Carroll and Dayton Streets. Both ramps have elevator access, marked stalls for persons with disabilities, and are open when major events occur at the Center. Metered parking spaces are also available on the street. Vehicles with DIS hang tags or plates may park at no charge at parking meters which are one-half hour or longer in duration.
Many Madison Metro bus lines travel State Street. Bus stops are located near Overture Center's entrances.
ONCE YOU'RE HERE
- House wheelchairs are available to transport people from their cars or within the Center. Please request in advance by calling 608.258.4144.
- All entrances are equipped with power doors.
- Elevator access is available to all floors of the Overture Center. Elevator controls are in Braille.
- All restrooms have power doors and accessible stalls.
- Overture Center has public telephones and water fountains at accessible heights.
