Overture Center for the Arts offers assistive listening systems for audio amplification in all performance venues. Assistive listening devices are available for no charge at the Information Desk on the first floor of the Rotunda Lobby, directly across from the main entrance at the corner of State and Fairchild streets.
To secure a listening device, you must leave a form of identification at the Information Desk. Acceptable forms of ID include a photo ID, driver's license, credit card, or passport. We cannot accept a social security card, personal property, or cash. Return the device to the Information Desk after the performance to retrieve your identification.

The Sennheiser Infrared System is used in Overture Hall. It offers a stethoset headset or a receiver unit to be used with ear hooks or neck loop connected by a jack and plug.

The infrared receiver must be worn with the Sennheiser logo to the front for unobstructed transmission of the signal. |

The Williams FM system is used in all other venues. This assistive listening receiver works with either of the following:
Two styles of headphones providing amplified sound to each ear. The larger ear muff style headphones diminish sound bleed.
A neck loop works for patrons using a hearing aid with a "T" or telephone switch. Worn around
the neck, it amplifies sound directly to the hearing aid.
Receivers in both systems use an off/on rotary switch that also adjusts the volume. The listening device will only receive a signal inside the specific venue it is tuned for. If you experience a problem with your assistive listening device, please contact an usher immediately or return the equipment to the Information Desk during intermission.
