Overture Center 2010-2011 Report to the Community
When we celebrate the 30th, 40th, 50th anniversaries of Overture Center, we will very likely look back upon this year as the pivotal one. It’s been a year of both excitement and challenge. Through it all, our staff, leadership and patrons have shown an impressive optimism and resilience. The year saw our strongest Broadway season ever, second-to-none artistic offerings, best-selling popular acts and continued growth in our community and educational programming, all in the midst of a massive shift in our organizational structure.
Through a period of significant change, we have continued to thrive. Subscriptions to our ticketed programs more than doubled. Our community engagement programming expanded. And our roots in the downtown community gripped deeper than ever.

You might be surprised at the number of people we serve -- especially the number who enjoy extraordinary artistic experiences without buying a ticket, and the number who come to enjoy performances and visual work that come out of our terrific local artist community.
