Faustwork Mask Theatre celebrates the art of the mask, delighting audiences of all ages with a unique synthesis of theater, physical comedy, dance and poetry. The Mask Messenger is a series of vignettes ranging from comic to bizarre to poignant. The show features expressive masks, comic characters and exotic creatures brought to life with outrageous physicality. The Montreal Gazette hailed the show as “stunning, indefinable … somewhere between the sculptural fantasies of Mummenschanz and the precision mime of Marcel Marceau.”
